Membership Guide

Our association has been founded to assist information and communications standardization research projects by proposing standards for high speed network and developing and distributing technical information regarding information and communications standardization, interoperability, and interworking. We hope that specialists, companies, colleges, and research institutes join our activities.

1. Types of Membership and Qualifications

Individual Membership
▪ Life Membership :
Person with bachelor degree or higher, or who works in area of information and communications is eligible to permanent membership

▪ Regular Membership:
Person with a bachelor degree or higher, or who works in area related of information and communications is eligible to become a member by December 31 from the date that his or her membership fee is paid.

▪ Student Membership:
- University student studying information and communications or graduate school student is eligible to become a member by December 31 from the date that his or her membership fee is paid.

▪ OSIA Academic Events' Members:
Person who register for the workshops that OSIA host is eligible to become a member by December 31 from then on.

Institutional Membership
▪ Companies, research institutes, or organizations that are interested in participating in our activities are eligible to become a member by December 31 from the date that its membership fee is paid.

2. Benefits of membership

▪ Eligible to get involved in the activities of our association
▪ Eligible to search and download a lot of presentation materials
▪ Eligible to search and download standardization and technology reports
▪ Eligible to win awards to accomplished members who have contributed to the advancement of information and communications technology
▪ Free subscription for Standards & Technology Review (formerly Opne System)
▪ Discounted registration fee for workshops hosted by OSIA
